They consist of linear and branched aliphatic hydrocarbons falling into different types such as slack wax and petrolatum, characterized by a wide variety of residual oil content, melting range and coloring (from liquid straw yellow with ivory white solid, to beige and dark brown).
Application: formulations for adhesives, agriculture, rubber, wood, abrasive pastes, emulsions.
