Specific applications include food packaging where paraffin waxes are widely used due to their food certifications and ability to preserve food quality. They are commonly used to line boxes and cartons and cover film for cheese (cheesewax).

Sealing: Paraffin waxes are commonly used to create seals in packaging. Their ability to adhere to different surfaces makes them suitable for sealing closures, fixing fins and creating tamper-proof seals. These seals guarantee consumers the integrity and authenticity of the product.
